FIESTAS AND MORE FIESTAS

Hola a todos!! Siento no haberme comunicado antes con vosotros pero he estado con la semana de fiestas en mi ciudad, Novelda. La verdad es que es una ciudad  pequeña, pero tiene todo lo que una ciudad debería tener, un par de tiendas buenas, la playa a unos km, en Alicante, y muchos lugares con terraza para aliviar el calor del verano. En cuanto a las fiestas, os diré que no he conocido otras igual en ningún sitio. La fiestas son de moros y cristianos y también hay otra parte que está dedicada a la temática religiosa, a la patrona de la ciudad Santa María Magdalena. Os voy a poner unas fotos de mi “filà” que es como se le llama a las escuadras, y de mí haciendo de cabo (el que dirige a la escuadra). También adjunto otras que no tienen nada que ver, pero ya tenía ganas de colgar fotos mías :) Espero que os gusten!!

Hi everyone!! I am so sorry I could not tell anything before but I have been on busy because of my city’s “fiestas”, Novelda. The truth is that it is a really small city, but it has everything a city should have, a pair of good shops, the beach is not so far, in Alicante, and it has also many places with terraces to cool off. Regarding the “fiestas” I can tell you that I never knew anything like these ones in all over the world. The main theme of these so called “fiestas” are Moors and Christians ( how the moors where expelled from the country), but there is another theme which is the religious one, dedicated to Saint Mary Magdalene. 

I am going to add you some pictures of my “filà” which is how the squad is called, and also from myself acting as the corporal of the squad. I am going to leave some pictures that have nothing to do with this too, but I wanted to upload some pictures of me!! Hope you like them!!
